Day 1 Bagdogra to Phuentsholing

Your journey begins with your arrival in Bagdogra, followed by a transfer to Phuentsholing. Upon reaching, complete the necessary immigration formalities before visiting Zangto Pelri Lhakhang, a serene temple representing heaven on earth, known for its intricate architecture and tranquil surroundings. Conclude the day by relaxing at your hotel in Phuentsholing.

Day 2 Phuentsholing to Thimphu

Start the day with a picturesque drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s vibrant capital. Along the way, marvel at the stunning scenery of lush green landscapes and charming villages. On arrival, visit Tashichho Dzong, an impressive fortress and monastery that serves as the seat of Bhutan’s government and the King’s throne room. Rest for the night at a comfortable hotel in Thimphu.

Day 3 Thimphu-Paro ( druk path Trek)

Dedicate the day to discovering Thimphu’s cultural and historical treasures. Begin with a visit to the towering Buddha Dordenma statue, a magnificent symbol of peace and enlightenment. Next, visit the National Memorial Chorten, a sacred site filled with spiritual energy.
Later you’ll journey to Paro, a valley town rich in history and culture. On reaching start the Druk Path Trek with a short hike to Jele Dzong, a historic fortress-turned-monastery perched on a ridge, offering spectacular views of the Paro Valley. Spend the night camping at Jele Dzong, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of nature.

Today you will continue along a trail that winds through pristine forests, high ridges, and alpine meadows. Along the way, soak in stunning vistas of the Himalayan peaks, serene landscapes, and tranquil lakes. Your destination for the night is a campsite near the breathtaking Jimilang Tsho Lake, known for its crystal-clear waters and peaceful ambiance.

Day 5 Paro Highlights

As the trail continues you will experience one of the highlights of the trip: a hike to Taktsang Monastery, commonly known as Tiger’s Nest. Perched dramatically on a cliffside 900 meters above the Paro Valley, this iconic monastery is a marvel of Bhutanese architecture and spirituality. The trek is challenging yet rewarding, with incredible views and a profound sense of accomplishment. After the hike, return to Paro for a well-deserved rest at your hotel.

Day 6 Paro to Phuentsholing

Bid farewell to Bhutan’s enchanting landscapes as you drive back to Phuentsholing. Reflect on the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty you’ve experienced. Upon arrival, complete the immigration clearance and enjoy your last evening with an overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 7 Phuentsholing to Bagdogra

Conclude your journey with a drive to Bagdogra for your onward departure. Take with you unforgettable memories of Bhutan, the Land of the Thunder Dragon, and its mesmerizing Himalayan charm.
